DIH has worked with SPEE3D since 2017 watching this amazing company move from strength to strength in the exciting world of additive manufacturing and 3D metal printing.
In 2018, DIH and Austrade facilitated meetings with Dr Ho Chaw Sing of Singapore’s National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Centre (NAMIC) contributing to SPEE3D’s successful export development activities in the region.
In 2019, DIH CEO Harley Paroulakis arranged a $2m venture capital lead investment by Paspalis Innovation Investment Fund (PIIF) in to SPEE3D. This investment saw an additional $750,000 of private funding joining in the round, providing a total $2.75m funding for SPEE3D to aggressively develop highly valuable international markets for its amazing additive manufacturing technology.
In 2020, the Local Jobs Fund of the Northern Territory provided an additional $2.75m (dollar for dollar) matched funding against this highly valuable private capital investment.
