Australian Blue Cypress wins Manufacturing and Advanced Materials Category at NT Chief Minister’s Export Awards 2022

Australian Blue Cypress (Kakadu Blue) is recognised as one of the winners at the Northern Territory Chief Minister’s Export Awards 2022.

Last Friday, 7th October 2022 they received the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials Awards and will be a finalist together with the other local Territory business winners at the national level. Competing against their peers and receive national recognition at the Australian Export Awards ceremony to be held in Canberra on 24th November 2022.

This year’s categories included small business, agribusiness, resources, manufacturing, professional services and regional exporter, with a total of ten Territory businesses acknowledged for their excellence and awarded at the NT Chief Minister’s Export Awards 2022:

The NT Chief Minister’s Export Awards recognises export businesses and showcase the work they are doing to grow the Territory’s economy, create jobs for Territorians and attract investment. The Territory is a significant contributor to Australia’s national trade. International trade is an important economic driver that contributed $12.1 billion to the economy last year and this will only continue to grow.

The 29th NT Chief Minister’s Export Awards was coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce NT with support from Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and the Northern Territory Government and sponsored by, Darwin Innovation Hub, Darwin Port, Export Finance Australia, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and INPEX IchthysProject.
