The last three months have been a whirlwind of events, networking and planning. We are incredibly proud of the HUB and how we have grown in our first 90 days.
October was certainly a standout month for the HUB, we are still trying to catch our breath!
For the first time, October Business Month ran Innovation Week which the HUB was honoured to host. Over the course of the week, we provided a jam-packed calendar of events that had something to suit everyone. A few memorable highlights started with an important workshop with AusIndustry on Accelerating Growth through Innovation, Nigel Collin’s keynote delivery on Game of Inches, Facebook delivering in the Northern Territory for the first time on their Family of Apps and concluded with a DIY Digital Marketing Workshop with SLiM Digital.
I am also pleased to introduce the newest member to the team, our new Program Director Janet Kosic, Janet has an impressive professional profile, which you can read more about here.
Darwin Innovation Hub is also proud to be part of the Inaugural NT Awards for Digital Excellence in 2017 as a sponsor. The HUB sees this collaboration as an opportunity to demonstrate our support for the outstanding businesses and individuals who are leading the way within the ICT industry in the NT.
As the year begins to come to a close, we are focused on the completion of our co-working lab in early 2018, further development of the HUB’s program of events for 2018 and connecting with more start-ups and entrepreneurs in the Northern Territory.
