Empowering Women in Construction

National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Presents Empowering Women in Construction Workshop with Dante St Jame.

The workshop, held at the DIH premises, served as a platform for women in construction to enhance their personal branding skills and empower themselves in a traditionally male-dominated field. Attendees were treated to insightful sessions led by industry experts, aimed at equipping them with strategies to establish and elevate their personal brands within the construction sector.

Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in interactive discussions and practical exercises designed to refine their personal branding techniques. From crafting compelling narratives to leveraging digital platforms effectively, attendees gained valuable insights into building a strong and authentic personal brand that resonates with stakeholders in the construction industry.

“We are delighted to have hosted this empowering workshop in collaboration with NAWIC,” remarked a spokesperson for the Darwin Innovation Hub. “Personal branding is a crucial aspect of career development, especially in industries like construction where women are underrepresented. Our goal was to provide attendees with the tools and confidence to position themselves as leaders and change-makers within the sector.”

The success of the workshop was evident in the positive feedback received from participants, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to enhance their personal branding skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Many attendees left the workshop feeling inspired and motivated to apply their newfound knowledge to advance their careers in construction.

While the event has concluded, its impact continues to resonate within the local construction community. The collaborative efforts of NAWIC and DIH have empowered women in construction to embrace their unique identities and assert their presence in the industry with confidence and authenticity. As the construction sector evolves, initiatives like these are instrumental in driving diversity, equality, and innovation forward.
