THE LARGEST OPEN DATA HACKATHON IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE
GovHack celebrates it’s 10th year building partnerships with governments and industry internationally to bring you the largest open data hackathon in the southern hemisphere.
It costs absolutely nothing to be involved in GovHack. Participants can fly solo or in teams of up to 10 people to create innovative and creative solutions to improve our community.
GovHack is an opportunity for thinkers, creators, designers, innovators and anyone else looking to create positive outcomes for their community.
As Australia’s largest and wide spread hackathon – GovHack encourages participants to identify and try solving deep-rooted social, economic and environmental challenges through open data. Open data is publicly available data usually made available and accessible by governments of all levels, to promote collaboration, innovation, transparency, strengthen democracy, and develop trust.
