The aim of the Digital Connectivity Forum is to capture ideas and strategies to progress Northern Australia through digital inclusion. It will comprise of a series of panel discussions and interactive sessions with key stakeholders from Northern Territory and broader Northern Australia.
We will hear from representatives of various sectors about their take on digital inclusion in the Northern Australian context to define a baseline understanding of digital connectivity infrastructure, policy and programs in the region.
We will also work together to imagine ways to bolster economic and social development in the North – across agriculture, health and education – through technology and the internet.
This workshop is a key activity of the Collaborative Research Centre for Northern Australia’s (CRCNA) project ‘Northern Australia Communications Analysis’. To learn more about the project click here.
This forum will be hosted by Charles Darwin University in collaboration with Queensland University of Technology and James Cook University.
