
Helen Ujvary is the Department of Trade, Business and Innovation’s Innovator in Residence and the Australian Representative of Oxentia Ltd (formerly the international consulting division of Oxford University Innovation). Since 2004, Oxentia has delivered services to global clients in over 60 countries. Helen was the Australian Representative for Ferghana Partners, an investment bank that focused on the bioscience sector. With a strong background in assisting technology companies find international partners and investors, Helen holds a Masters in Biotechnology from Canterbury University in Kent, a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Oxford University, a Diploma from the AICD and an MBA from Adelaide University.
As an Innovator in Residence Helen will be in Darwin to provide mentorship and support to start-up and early stage businesses including:
- Advice on how to achieve your innovation aspirations
- Introductions to:
- Investors with access to finance
- Key knowledge partners and universities
- Key business networks
- IP experts and lawyers
- Help with preparing a strong BISI funding application
Sessions are one-on-one with Helen and run for approximately 30 minutes.
