GovHack is coming to the Northern Territory for the first time in 2017!

It’s all about encouraging and celebrating our technical and creative capacity with government for great outcomes, and building upon the social and economic value of Open Data published by government.

From humble beginnings in 2009, GovHack has grown from a small data mashup event to a huge international competition that brings over 3000 people together to innovate, collaborate and apply their creative skills to open government data. It’s amazing what unexpected ideas happen when people connect, chat, ideate and create. We can’t wait to see what happens this year when we bring NT’s brightest minds together for the first-ever NT Gov Hack Hack-a-Thon Weekend.

GovHack is for everyone – the best teams have a mix of skills, so even if you are unsure about how your skills would fit then make sure you come along as I am sure you’ll find a great team where you can contribute plenty of value.
