GovHack NT is back in 2019 and we are excited to announce we will be hosting the Darwin event alongside Desert Knowledge Australia in Alice Springs!
Nationally, GovHack is celebrating its 10th birthday this year! GovHack is an international competition for people of all abilities who seek to make life better through open data. Across one weekend, thousands come together to form teams, agree projects, and participate in what has become one of the world’s largest open data competition.
2018 was another fantastic year for GovHack in the Northern Territory with 15 teams from both Darwin and Alice Springs participating over the weekend. The 46 hour hackathon was abuzz with activity as more than 30 submissions made it in before the deadline on Sunday afternoon.
