Mr Paroulakis is the CEO of Paspalis and third generation Northern Territorian.
He is responsible for Paspalis company’s investment management business, the Darwin Innovation Hub and commercial property portfolio.
As the Founder of the Darwin Innovation Hub, he leads a team of Growth Facilitators who in 2020 were appointed by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources as a National Delivery Partner for the Business Management element of its Entrepreneurs Program.
Since 2019 Mr Paroulakis has completed several successful direct investments including Universal Site Monitoring, a Mining Equipment Technology, BetTube, an on-line Sports Wagering business, SPEE3D, a world leader in 3D metal printing and Aliena, a satellite propulsion technology based in Singapore.
He has also provided seed funding to such aspiring Australian Start-Ups as Equatorial Launch Australia, who are developing the Arnhem Space Port in Nhulunbuy which is contracted with The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to deliver a Sounding Rocket launch program in 2022.
Mr Paroulakis is dedicated to the advancement of innovative industry in the North and brings with him an extensive network of co-investment partners and research collaborators throughout the Asia Pacific including CapVista and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
In 2021 Mr Paroulakis was honoured to be an Advisory Board member of The Australian Nobel Laureates, Vol III State of Our Innovation Nation 2021 where he contributed to its authorship as a Thought Leader.
He is a respected member of the Australian Investment Council establishing the Northern Territory’s first two venture capital funds in 2018 and 2020 and has held senior positions with Foundation Capital and Merrill Lynch Bank of America (Singapore) where he was FINRA (Series 7 and 3) qualified and selected to attend its Princeton Invitational in New Jersey to study advanced financial products.
He is a Responsible Manager under our Australian Financial Services License and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Murdoch University and Victorian Certificate of Education from Scotch College, Melbourne.
