Mr Paroulakis is the CEO of the Paspalis Group of Companies proudly based in Darwin.
He is responsible for the company’s investment management program, the Darwin Innovation Hub and commercial property portfolio.
In 2020 the Darwin Innovation Hub was appointed by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources as a National Delivery Partner for the Business Management element of its Entrepreneurs Program in the Northern Territory.
Mr Paroulakis is a respected member of the Australian Investment Council establishing the Northern Territory’s first venture capital fund in 2018 and has held senior positions with Merrill Lynch Bank of America (Singapore), Foundation capital and Honeywell International.
In 2019 Mr Paroulakis completed several direct investments including SPEE3D, a 3D metal printing technology; Aliena, a satellite propulsion technology based in Singapore and Equatorial Launch Australia, an Australian start-up developing the Arnhem Space Centre in Nhulunbuy.
Mr Paroulakis is dedicated to the advancement of innovative industry and brings with him an extensive network of co-investment partners and research collaborators throughout the Asia Pacific including CapVista and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
In 1997 Mr Paroulakis was honoured to be selected by Merrill to attend its Princeton Invitational New Jersey to study advanced financial products. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Murdoch University and Victorian Certificate of Education from Scotch College, Melbourne.
