CSIRO is seeking participants for the next round of Innovate to Grow for SMEs working and innovating in the cyber security sector.
Innovate to Grow helps businesses identify technical and business challenges, explore research collaboration opportunities, and develop actionable business and funding plans through a structured, time-efficient development process. It is perfect for businesses considering new R&D but not quite sure where to start. SMEs will be connected to innovation facilitators and mentors, as well as research and industry experts from across the cyber security sector.
“The perfect solution in the current times… nobody knows their product/markets and how to improve them like SMEs, they just don’t have the resources to develop them. This course taps that knowledge rich base and links with the resources.” – Hamish Shaw, GM, Former participant
SMEs working in cyber security, including in the following sub-sectors are encouraged to apply:
- Network security
- Application security
- Human centric security
- Data integrity and privacy
- Incident management and response
Applications are open now on the CSIRO website and close on 14th February 2022. The course commences on 10th March 2022 with participants required to attend a half-day workshop and undertake 1–2 hours per week self-paced work over 10 weeks (plus optional fortnightly webinars).
The program is delivered by CSIRO and Practera. It is funded by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources through the Cyber Security Skills Partnership Innovation Fund Grant Opportunity Program.
