Katherine High School Students Get Pitch Perfect

On 8th September 2023, Darwin Innovation Hub hosted eight students from Katherine High School for an introduction to the world of startup incubation, acceleration and venture capital investment.

Each student has been developing their own startup ideas this term with the final assessment being a presentation of their idea with an investment pitch.

Darwin Innovation Hub’s Expert in Residence, Dante St James showed the class what we look for in an investment, and how to ensure that their presentation was clear, concise and “pitch-perfect”.

Often the struggle with startups is clearly articulating who the product is for, and how it is different from what’s already out there. The students from Katherine High now have a framework for sharing their great ideas with the world. – Dante St James, Expert In Residence at Darwin Innovation Hub
