Meet the Finalists: Croc Pitch 2025 Announces Top 5 Startups

After a competitive application process, the top five startups for Croc Pitch 2025 have been selected — and they’re ready to take the stage.

This year’s finalists represent the cutting edge of innovation across space, agtech, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (AI). Each has been chosen for their potential to scale, testbed in the Northern Territory, and create commercial impact across Northern Australia and beyond.

They’ll pitch live on Wednesday 10 September at the Darwin Innovation Hub in front of investors, expert advisers, and government leaders — with a chance to secure investment, strategic support, and exposure.

Here are the finalists for Croc Pitch 2025:

1. Akula Tech

AI-powered smart satellites with onboard processing and autonomous drone swarms for real-time defence intelligence.

2. Qarbotech

Carbon-quantum-dot photosynthesis enhancers that lift crop yields and carbon uptake across Southeast Asia.

3. Inviscid AI

Accelerates physics-based simulation and optimisation with physics-informed models for faster, accurate engineering design.

4. Arlula

A single platform to search, order, and task satellite imagery, cutting turnaround from days to hours.

5. Quantum Lock

Uses quantum mechanics to verify remote device integrity and flag compromised infrastructure in real time.

These are the founders to watch — and on 10 September, you’ll see exactly why.
