Michael Prentice

Lead Growth Facilitator

Michael is a facilitator for the Darwin Innovation Hub in its role as Delivery Partner for the Australian Government’s Northern Australian Development Program.

In this role he has responsibility for managing client relationships in the Strengthening North Australia Business (SNAB) program which provides valuable grant funding to both growth companies and industry transformation projects in the Northern Territory.

Michael brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to the DIH team having worked most recently with the Industry Capability Network Northern Territory as the Operations Manager. In this role Michael led a team managing the local capability requirements and opportunities of Public Sector procurement and Major Projects, across sectors that includes Oil and Gas, Mining, Agriculture, Civil and Construction, Defence and Maritime

He brings a collaborative approach with a desire to achieve client focused outcomes as well as the ability to tap into his industry connections to support his clients.

Michael is a proud Veteran of the Australian Defence Force having served in the Australian Army and is passionate about issues affecting Veteran’s and their families. He is currently a member of the Northern Territory Veterans Affairs Ministers Advisory Council providing advice on matters of interest and issues affecting serving and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force and their families in the Northern Territory.

Michael is in the final stages of completing his Bachelor of Business and is passionate about contributing to the development of the Northern Territory.
