The biggest month on the local business calendar is underway as October Business Month 2025 powers through some 180 events across the Northern Territory.
With around thirty five events being held at Darwin Innovation Hub alone this year, the beginning of the month has been a hive of activity and learning for the Top End business community.
Already the Hub has hosted events introducing AI tools, running public speaking training, tackling workforce challenges in the tourism sector and introducing new business owners to the many services and tools available to those starting on the path to entrepreneurship.
So far, almost 400 guests have attended events at The Hub during OBM with bookings at well over 800 for the whole of October.
Darwin Innovation Hub Start NT Manager, Dante St James says that the success of OBM is all about meeting business owners where they are at.
“In previous years, the community has told us that they need more after-hours and weekend events, so we’ve built a packed schedule around the availability of business owners who can’t get off the tools during the day – and the result has been very positive.”
With the second half of the month featuring another eleven workshops hosted by The Hub, attendees will learn about:
- Working with Aussies as a migrant
- Digital Marketing for growing businesses
- Doing business on LinkedIn
- Building out a brand kit on Canva
- and various AI, digital skills and entrepreneurship classes.
Attendees can still book any one of the range of events for OBM at the official website.
