Paspalis Capital Investment: Are You the Deep-Tech Founder They’re Backing?

The venture capital is the headline. But for most founders who've come through Croc Pitch, it's not the most valuable thing that happened to their company.

Paspalis Capital Investment: Are You the Deep-Tech Founder They’re Backing?

Croc Pitch 2026 is how Paspalis Capital finds the early-stage deep-tech companies building for and from Northern Australia — and registrations close in less than a week.

Paspalis is not a grants body. They’re an active early-stage investor looking for founders solving hard problems with scalable technology. Croc Pitch is their most direct path to deal flow from the global founder community that sees the Northern Territory as an opportunity, not an afterthought.

What Paspalis is backing

We’re looking for scalable solutions that can be tested and proven in Northern Australia’s unique environment. From remote operations and extreme climate conditions to sovereign capability gaps and resource sector challenges, the region provides an ideal proving ground for technologies that need to perform in the real world.

Priority sectors include advanced manufacturing, space technology, dual-use and defence innovation, energy transition, agriculture, and digital infrastructure, but we’re open to any innovation that can create meaningful economic impact in the North.

If your product, technology, or idea helps grow Northern Australia’s economy, Croc Pitch offers more than capital. It provides a platform to connect with investors, government, and industry leaders, and real opportunities to deploy your innovation in live NT environments through the Darwin Innovation Hub’s commercialisation programs.

Why the timing matters

Registrations close 5 August at 5pm ACST. If you’ve been sitting on an application, the time to act is now. The process is straightforward, the format is hybrid so you can enter from anywhere in the world, and the upside is significant: up to $1 million in Paspalis venture capital available to be deployed across the cohort (subject to due diligence) plus access to one of Australia’s most comprehensive early-stage support ecosystems.

Past participants have gone on to secure millions in follow-on investment from Paspalis. Arlula $1.5M (2025), Esper $1.7M (2024), Blueflite $1.6M (2023). The opportunity that starts on pitch day can extend for years.
