The Darwin Innovation Hub (DIH) is entering a Memorandum of Understanding with the Northern Territory Government, Cap Vista, Singapore’s strategic investment arm of Defence, Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), and the Singapore Space Technology Association (SSTA).
The exciting new endeavour – called Project Cyclotron – will have a strong focus on projects that support the Arnhem Space Centre’s supply chains, space projects that improve remote digital communications and projects that enhance the Northern Territory’s capabilities in priority areas such as ground station systems, launch services and space technology development and testing.
The DIH will attract prolific space tech start-up companies with technology applicable to the NT such as Transcelestial – Space Laser Communication Network, Aliena – Space Propulsion Systems, ELA needs to be de-initialised – Equatorial Launch Australia, and SPEE3D. Project Cyclotron will be a fantastic opportunity for Australian project proponents in the space sector to receive invaluable support and investment.
The DIH will welcome Australian space technology companies seeking access to markets in the Asia Pacific, venture capital investment or co-investment and test bedding or development opportunities in the Northern Territory, as well as any Australian and International investors with an interest in SpaceTech development.
