Darwin Innovation Hub celebrated alongside the latest cohort of the CodeUp NT program as they graduated in the September LinkedIn Local event at the Hub.
The twelve participants completed a comprehensive three month program focused on software development, full-stack web development and new artificial intelligence technologies.
In addition to code skills, the participants were guided through job-seeking, interviewing, communications, workplace culture and mental health sessions with a number of industry and community presenters.
CodeUp NT is a joint initiative between True Blue IT Services and Darwin Innovation Hub.
True Blue Director, Rifat Mahmud describes CodeUp NT as “a job readiness program that fills the gap between what students learn at university and the expected skills that industry has of graduates today.”
He started CodeUp NT as both a source of new talent for his own business and as a contribution to the Territory’s IT and software development community.
Darwin Innovation Hub’s Dante St James describes the journey as, “more than a skills program, but a preparation for the life and career of a technologist.”
Darwin Innovation Hub is proud to sponsor and suppport the ongoing CodeUp NT program. You can find out more about the program at the website.
