Spotlight on Wendy Pech

Program Director – Darwin Innovation Hub

Following an extensive recruitment drive we are excited to announce the formal appointment of Wendy Pech to the position of Program Director at the DIH.

“I look forward to contributing to the development of new export markets for NT innovation companies and further developing our industry expertise to support our brilliant cohort of Start-ups.”

“It’s very exciting to be able to build upon the strong foundations that have been laid in the first 18 months of operations at the DIH and I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to this role to help take on some very exciting projects we have planned for 2019”
– Wendy Pech

Wendy brings a wealth of experience to her new position coming out of her previous role at Ernst & Young (EY) where she was responsible for office management and providing valuable support in Government business development, marketing and in managing and supporting EY initiatives.

Wendy has also worked for a private family investment office, as Projects and Client Relationship Executive as well as having experience in Program and Events Management working with Advantage SA (now Brand SA) and in property investment working with PPI Funds Management.

Wendy has two grown children, Sam and Emma and is a passionate supporter of Australian wine, sport, emerging artists and indigenous art centres.

Wendy will be taking over from Janet Kosic whom the DIH would like to sincerely thank for her contribution to the DIH team throughout 2017-18. Janet came to us on secondment from the Department of Defence, and we wish her all the best for 2019.
