True Blue IT Launches Code Up NT Program at DIH

True Blue IT Services launches Code Up NT, an internship program running from December 2024 to February 2025. The three-month program aims to provide Northern Territory students with software development and business skills experience.

Code Up NT provides participants with a comprehensive learning experience designed to prepare them for the digital workforce. Through hands-on technical training, interns will work on practical projects such as app development, websites, and automation tools using leading frameworks like Flutter, ReactJS, and Laravel.

A mentorship program pairs participants with experts from True Blue IT Services and Darwin Innovation Hub, offering guidance on both technical skills and professional development. The program also includes business integration training, equipping participants with essential client relations and solution delivery skills. Additionally, it prepares them for remote work by introducing platforms like Upwork and Freelancer, opening doors to global freelance opportunities.

At the end of the program, interns will receive a Certificate of Achievement in Software Development & Communication Skills, a valuable career-building tool that will showcase their technical and professional expertise.

True Blue IT Services partnership with Darwin Innovation Hub has established a dynamic and collaborative environment for the Code Up NT program. This partnership provides students and mentors with access to a shared workspace for collaboration and workshops, reliable and ultra-fast internet connectivity to support development work and online learning, and a coffee station to keep participants energised and productive.

By supporting Code Up NT, the Darwin Innovation Hub is strengthening its engagement with the local community and positioning itself as a leader in fostering regional tech talent.

“True Blue IT Services is excited to launch Code Up NT – an internship program designed to provide Northern Territory students with the skills they need to thrive in the world of software development. With hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world projects, we are not just teaching code; we are building future tech leaders. Our partnership with the Darwin Innovation Hub helps create a supportive and collaborative environment where students can grow both professionally and personally.
